Amy Maib’s community involvement

As a member of this community who makes a living with some dependence on what is actually happening in Yakima, I am proudly involved with multiple organizations. I am a member of The Junior League of Yakima and Downtown Yakima Rotary. Junior League an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, development of the potential of women, and improving the community. Rotary is a global community of more than 1.2 million men and women dedicated to building a better world. We believe in “Service Above Self”. Our mission is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise. I also have volunteered for several local non profits and served on the board of directors for Yakima Humane Society.
